A GLUSBURN man guilty of assault has been re-sentenced by magistrates after breaching his court order.
Skipton magistrates heard Andrew McEwan, 39, had completed just 15 hours, 45 minutes of the 300 imposed for common assault by the Skipton court in March.
The court heard that McEwan, of Beanlands Place, had missed appointments made by the probation service on July 3 and on July 10, and had been uncooperative, although it was his first breach.
McEwan, who accepted the breach, told the court he had been struggling to cope, but was now committed to carrying out the order.
Magistrates revoked the original order and re sentenced him to 300 hours unpaid work, with £45 costs. They also warned him any further breach could result in him being sent to prison.
