RAFFLES and hair styling demonstrations are among the attractions of a special event at an Addingham salon to boost the appeal to buy a bed for brave Skipton boy Aidan Hudson.
It takes place tomorrow (Thursday 20 October) at the Claire Wareham salon on Main Street, 4-9pm.
Twelve-year-old Aidan has a rare condition called Charge Syndrome, which means he is deaf and blind, with serious breathing problems, and has 'global developmental delay', which means he is not safe in a normal bed. He has a tracheostomy to help with his breathing, is fully tube fed and although he can manage short walks requires a wheelchair for longer distances.
The salon's Jane Watson said: " We have had a lot of excellent raffle prizes donated, including Cloud Nine items. Everyone is welcome to come along for what will be an enjoyable time to raise money for Aidan."
