The train dubbed the most famous in the world paid a flying visit to Skipton today.
The Flying Scotsman steamed into Skipton station.
The locomotive is believed to have been on the way back to the National Railway Museum after a visit to the East Lancs Railway.
These images were sent to us by Philip Winstanley, who was among those to witness the visit.
They show the engine coming through Hellifield Station and then pulled in at Skipton Station.
