A WOMAN, who is believed to have fallen from a railway bridge near Upper Sackville Street, Skipton, yesterday afternoon, was stretchered from the scene by firefighters who were assisted by members of Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association.
The casualty was treated at the scene by paramedics before she was removed by Air Ambulance.
A North Yorkshire Fire Service spokesman said the woman was believed to have fallen from the bridge onto the embankment below and rolled close to the railway line.
