The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was called to Litton today after a man slipped on rocks and suffered leg injuries.
The air ambulance team called out the Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Service to assist getting the man into the helicopter.
The man was treated for injuries by Yorkshire Ambulance Service paramedics at the scene before being stretchered by the rescue team to the ambulance.
The incident happened at around 8.17 this morning.
