Two highly regarded commentators in the rail industry have been revealed as the guests for the Skipton East Lancs Rail Action Partnership’s (SELRAP) Open Meeting in November.
The speakers will be Nigel Harris and Christian Wolmar, who are both highly regarded in rail and government circles, according to the group.
The meeting takes place on Monday 14th November at Herriots Hotel, Broughton Road, Skipton.

Nigel Harris is Managing Editor and Events Director for Rail magazine – Britain’s biggest – selling modern railway magazine. He is a specialist/analyst and commentator on the modern rail industry and also has interests within the heritage movement.
And Christian Wolmar, a journalist, author and railway historian, is one of the UK’s leading commentators on transport. He writes regularly for a wide variety of publications that include the Independent, Evening Standard and Rail magazine. He also makes frequent appearances on radio and television.
