STAFF at Skipton accountancy firm H&M Ltd have raised a massive £25,000 for Manorlands Hospice during a year of fundraising in memory of one of their directors, Zoe Burrows.

Among their various efforts over the year, they took on the the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in May, and scaled the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.

H&M director Alastair Cromarty said: "Without the generosity and support from our clients and their families we would not have reached our amazing target, We would like to thank all of our clients for the support they have given us over this last year.”

Manorlands fundraiser for the Craven area, Karen Jones, said: "This is a fantastic total and the whole team should be really proud of themselves. As the cost of services increases each year this kind of support is so important in allowing us to continue to provide care to patients in our hospice and in the local community."
