SINGER songwriter Chris Bannister will return to Skipton Town Hall on Friday (December 2) with his show The Music of John Denver.
It will be the fourth appearance in Skipton for Chris who is has also produced five of his own penned albums and has toured widely for more than 20 years.
He has been touring with his solo show, The Music of John Denver since 2010 celebrating the life and work of the legendary singer songwriter.
But unlike tribute acts who concentrate on looking like their subjects, Chris's ability to recreate the sound of John Denver has brought him widespread acclaim.
He now regularly performs in Aspen, Colorado , where he will return next year as part of the celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of John Denver's death in an airplane crash.
He has worked alongside Wrecking Crew saxophonist and flautist Jim Horn who was the longest serving musician in Denver's band, and also the late Steve Weisberg, Denver's lead guitarist.
