SETTLE hotel Falcon Manor is to sponsor Settle Stories autumn and winter series for the second year running.

The hotel, situated at the southern outskirts of the town, will play host to a winter stories event for children on Tuesday, December 20.

It will also be Settle Stories’ main supporter for autumn and winter.

The charity offers a year-round programme of entertainment for all ages, as well as a bi-annual storytelling festival, which has quickly gained a reputation for world-class storytelling since first held in 2010.

Falcon marketing manager, Heidi Kettle: “We are delighted to continue our support for Settle Stories. Winter Stories was a fantastic event last year and promises to be even better this December.”

Winter Stories, is aimed at six to 10-year-olds, and features magical tales with a festive atmosphere, as Father Christmas and his elves put everyone into the seasonal spirit.

There will be mince pies and mulled wine for the adults and every child will receive a gift to take home.

Charles Tyrer, of Settle Stories, said: “We are very grateful to Falcon Manor for supporting our charity once again. It is a wonderful venue for our Winter Stories and we are looking forward to an afternoon of fascinating tales and Christmas cheer.

“We are a small arts charity and our work would not be possible without this sort of support from Falcon Manor.”

Tickets for Winter Stories are available from the Settle Stories website settlestories.org.uk
