Firefighters were called to a blaze at a house in Carleton on Wednesday afternoon.
The fire was reported to be in the kitchen of the three storey terraced house.
Two crews from Skipton, one from Earby and an aerial hydraulic platform attended, according to North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Firefighters have confirmed no one was injured in the blaze.
Firefighters used two hose reels and four sets of breathing apparatus at during the call out at around 1pm today.
The brigade said the fire had been put out at around 3pm.
The cause is believed to have been an electrical fault.
