CRAVEN people will be glued to their television screens tomorrow as Skipton takes centre stage in Our Dancing Town.
Last week, Barnsley was the first of three Yorkshire towns to be visited by choreographer Steve Elias in a bid to get the whole town dancing.
And tomorrow, the results of a hectic two weeks of cajoling, practising, rehearsing, and finally filming a mass dance along the closed High Street will be revealed.
Skipton Mayor, Cllr Martin Emmerson, who took part in the dance, said he was confident that Skipton would come across even better than Barnsley.
"I thought the programme was really good and Barnsley did very well, but Skipton will do better," he said.
Farmers, slimming club members, market stall holders, councillors and community groups all took part in the dance.
Our Dancing Town - a five part series - will be shown at 9pm on Tuesday on BBC2.
