ST Joseph's Community Centre in Barnoldswick has been made safer with the construction of a stone ramp and steps.
The ramp provides disabled access to the Bolland Street building via the hall and is a disabled fire exit from the kitchen area.
The access area and car park have also been upgraded with drainage improvements and resurfacing.
A spokesman for St Joseph's said: "This well used facility is now especially safe for the elderly and disabled with ramp access to all entrances.
"The committee is grateful to the Lancashire Environmental Fund, The Big Lottery and The Harold and Alice Bridges Charity for their grants towards this work."
