AN opticians is holding a fundraiser in aid of a seriously ill mum from Silsden.
Specsavers, at Five Lane Ends, Idle, is hosting the event to raise money for cancer treatment for Sally Major.
The event, on Saturday, February 11, will include a raffle and tombola.
Sally is fighting bowel cancer and a fundraising campaign has been running to try to raise enough money for treatment at the Hallwang Clinic, near Stuttgart, in Germany.
Specsavers would like to hear from anyone who could donate a prize for the raffle or tombola. They can be dropped off at the store.
Anyone who wants to make a donation to the fund set up to help Sally should visit youcaring.com/sallymajor.
Mum-of-four Sally’s advanced stage 4 bowel cancer was not diagnosed by doctors she saw more than ten times over a four-year span. She was told she was suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
