A 55 YEAR old man has been sent to crown court charged with dangerous driving on the A59 at Skipton.
Kevin McGovern is charged with driving a Mercedes E220 dangerously on August 12 last year. He is also charged with using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards another man on the same date. McGovern, of Hazelhurst Drive, Middleton, Rochdale, appeared at Skipton Magistrates' Court when he entered not guilty pleas. He was sent to Bradford Crown Court for an initial hearing on March 17.
