Police appeal for help after burglar attempts home break-in
Police are appealing for help after a burglar tried to break into a house on Carleton Road, Skipton.
Police say that between 10.45am and 2.30pm on Friday a would-be burglar tried to force his or her way into the home near the junction with The Close, in Skipton.
However entry was not gained and the offender has made off either along Carleton Road or on the train tracks at the back of the attacked house.
Anyone who saw any suspicious people in this area at that time is urged to contact PC 1969 Adam Steventon at Skipton Police Station on 101 quoting crime reference number 12170032226.
