CARING pupils at Kildwick Primary School have given a boost to charity.
They have raised over £1,800 so far this academic year.
Beneficiaries include the Aidan Hudson Appeal, the Children's Heart Surgery Fund and Christians Against Poverty (CAP).
Activities included a carols by candlelight concert, organised and performed by the youngsters, which raised £78 for CAP.
Ruth Howard-Birt – from the charity, which works with families to help lift them out of debt – was joined by Lucy Irven from Skipton Foodbank at a school assembly, where they spoke about the organisation's work and received a cheque.
Headteacher, Tim Whitehead, said: "This was a fantastic opportunity to show the children how their donations were helping local people."
