Four friends from Lothersdale Primary School raised £95.20 for Cancer Research recently by making and selling buns at playtime.
With the help of their families, the girls from Year 3 made enough buns for all the 107 pupils in the school and even had extras leftover to sell to all the school's staff.
The girls worked really hard to promote their bun sale and thanked everyone for buying a bun and donating to the cause.
Headteacher, Mrs Robinson, praised the girls' thoughtfulness and compassion for others and said she felt extremely proud of their wonderful efforts.
