PUPILS, parents and friends of Grassington CoE Primary School are gearing up for the second annual Red Tractor Run.
Organised by the school's Parent Teacher Association, the five mile fundraising run is open to anyone - as long as they are at least ten years old.
It will take place on Sunday, April 30 - the same day the Tour de Yorkshire cycle race heads through Craven on its way from Bradford to Sheffield.
Runners will set off from the school and follow a route taking in much of the area's beautiful countryside.
There will also be plenty going on back at the school where a fun run for children on the football field will see all finishers receiving a medal.
Last year's event was declared a great success with organisers hoping this year's will be even bigger and better. With the added bonus of sponsorship from Kanga Sports, all finishers will receive a free technical running teeshirt.
The main five mile run can take up to a maximum of a hundred runners, and online booking is available now at Bookitzone.com, meanwhile, more information can be found about the event on Facebook Grassington School annual Red Tractor Run.
