GRASSINGTON will be abuzz with fun runners on Sunday for the village primary school's second annual Red Tractor Run.
The five mile run will be open to anyone over ten years old and will set off from the school in Hebden Road at 10.30am. The main event will take in some of the area's stunning countryside, while there will also be a children's event on the school football field.
Organised by the school PTA, the event has been sponsored by Kanga Sports, which has donated technical running shirts to all finishers. Finishers of both events will also receive a medal. Kanga Sports delivers PE and extracurricular sessions to rural schools, in addition to holiday clubs for rural communities. Entries to Sunday's event can be done online at Bookitzone.com, while more information can be found on the Facebook page Grassington School Annual Red Tractor Run. People can also enter on the day itself.
