THE Pendle Mayoress’ Garden Party will be held from 11am to 3pm on Monday at The Old Grammar School in Earby.
This joint fundraising event will be for Mayoress Carol Goulthorp's charities and the Robert Windle Foundation.
The money raised for the Robert Windle Foundation will be used to continue with the improvements to the Old Grammar School and will go towards grants for local schools.
The mayoress’ charities include Pendle's branch of the Samaritans based in Nelson, Pendle Dogs In Need, Pendle Women's Refuge, Homestart and North West Blood Bikes.
There will be a selection of stalls with local produce and crafts, henna tattoos, tarot card reading and children’s activities. There will be refreshments of strawberries and cream, sandwiches and scones and cream.
Entry is free.
