A RESIDENTIAL venue for management training at Malham Tarn has been shortlisted for an award at the industry's Conference and Hospitality Show.
High Trenhouse, a 23-bedroom 'corporate retreat' is a finalist in the 'best external space' category of the awards, to be made at a ceremony at The Royal Armouries in Leeds on Thursday, May 11.
It has been has been developed as a venue over the past 30 years by John Varney and Bernadette Schutte.
Mr Varney said: "High Trenhouse has evolved as an exceptional venue, contributing to many senior people successfully developing their sense of purpose and capacity for high performance teamwork.
"It is always a privilege to witness people transform from tired executives into dynamic and energetic leaders, who are clear about their objectives.”
Among the nominated venues in the same category is the Coniston Country Estate and Spa.
