FREE expert advice will be given at next week's pop-up business café in Settle.
The How’s Business Pop-up Business Café coming to Settle will on Thursday, May 18, will offer free advice to business owners and start-ups from noon to 4pm at the Royal Oak Hotel, Kirkgate.
Local experts will be on hand to have their brains picked on topics such as tax, accountancy, finance, web design, social media, marketing and more.
Jo Rhodes of North Craven Networking knows the many challenges small businesses face and how difficult it can be to access support and take time away from the business.
She said: "It’s great to have an event that can bring together help and advice locally, especially in rural Yorkshire where access to business support can be pretty far removed from small, rural or home-based businesses. It can be quite isolating.
"If you’re self-employed it can be a big time commitment to travel to attend networking or training events. A pop-up is perfect since you can stay as long as you like, 15-20 minutes may be all you need."
The free event is organised by How’s Business, the growth hub for York, North Yorkshire and East Riding.
