YOUNG children from Gargrave Pre-School group have been playing the 'generation game' - and learning about life by talking to the residents of the care home next door.
They are making regular visits to the senior ladies at the Neville House home, on Neville Road, following an initial trip at Easter at which young and old decorated eggs and painted bonnets together.
Now the children are making regular monthly 'arts and crafts' visits while residents speak to them about various topics, including their family lives and the games they liked to play when they were young. On their most recent visit the children enjoyed making craft items, as well as playing dominoes, with the ladies.
