A TEAM from The Coniston Hotel and Estate has set itself the challenge of conquering the Yorkshire Three Peaks.

Around 25 members of staff will attempt to walk 24 miles while taking in the peaks of Penyghent, Ingleborough and Whernside and all within 12 hours.

And, they will be doing the challenge on June 7 to raise money for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice.

Community Fundraiser for Craven, Karen Jones, said the support from the hotel was fantastic.

"As the cost of services increases each year this kind of support is so important in allowing us to continue to provide care to patients in our hospice and in the local community," she said.

"Every year we need to find £2.1million to continue to provide incredible care in our community, so we rely so much on people to raise money. Our heartfelt thanks go to the team for their commitment to supporting people with life limiting conditions."
