POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a collision near Skipton that left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.

The collision happened on the A629 between Snaygill roundabout at Skipton and Ings Lane at Bradley at around 11.30pm on Saturday, May 13.

It involved a white Peugeot Bipper van and a red Ducati motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, a man from the Keighley area, received serious injuries.

Traffic Constable Mark Brook of the Roads Policing Group said: "I would urge any witnesses to the incident, or anyone who may have seen any of the parties prior to the collision, to come forward with any information they may have to assist in the investigation.”
