CHILDREN'S cartoons were the theme of the annual Malham Safari this year where life sized characters depicting animals were placed around the village.
Event Chairman Geoffrey Swales said: “Local volunteers and businesses work vary hard which is why the Safari has grown in popularity each year."
Other entertainment included Morris dancers, a partners dance, magic shows, The Moonbeams, axe throwing, a Batala Band.
Over the five day event there was a Safari Café and various activities such as archery, coconut shy, wellie-wanging, duck racing, face painting, stream dipping and a display of birds of prey.
