FOUR young farmers from the Coniston Cold group travelled to Houghall College in Durham to represent Yorkshire Federation of Young Farmers at the National Federation YFC Northern Area Field Day.
Each member had qualified through district and county rounds to reach the finals. Gemma Darwin won the 'mystery judging' competition, with Alice Walton reaching fifth place from 12 competitors. Robin Schofield, Hannah Saxby, Alice and Gemma also competed in the 'bushtucker trial' coming third out of twelve teams. The results helped the Yorkshire Federation win the overall event, collecting three trophies. Pictured from left are Gemma, Robin, Hannah and Alice.
