GLORIOUS sunshine helped to make the open day of a Settle nursing home a great success on Saturday.
Well over 100 visitors enjoyed the sunny weather - and the cake stall, tombola and children's sports and games - in the grounds of Anley Hall, on Skipton Road.
There was also a tug of war contest and a 'best dressed pet' competition, won by Doug the Pug!
And a trophy plus £100 in gift vouchers was presented to the home's 'employee of the year' Linta Paul by proprietor Malcolm Haigh and manager Gill Hardacre.
The day raised a total of £485 for the Anley Hall residents fund.
Administrative assistant Lauren Capstick said: "We would like to say a big thank you to all of the volunteers who helped us out throughout the day. It wouldn't have been possible without them."
