A GYM in Cross Hills has been given extension of its two year temporary permission after Craven councillors heard there were no reasons to turn it down.
CrossFit at The Crossings Business Park, Riparian Way, was originally given two year temporary permission in 2014, heard Craven District Council's Planning Committee.
Intended use of the small unit was supposed to be for 'light industry', but marketing had failed to generate interest, heard members.
A lack of residential properties in the immediate area and the fact that classes are generally held in the evenings and weekends meant it caused little disruption.
Councillors agreed to an extension of permission for a further two years, from 9am to 8.30pm on Mondays to Fridays; from 8am and 12.30pm on Saturdays, and from 9am and 12.30pm on Sundays.
