New curate Alex Wheatley with the Rev Ruth Harris, vicar of Christ Church and St Mary's
MEMBERS of the congregation at two churches have welcomed a new curate.
Alex Wheatley, who was ordained deacon at Bradford Cathedral earlier this month, has taken up his new role at Christ Church, Skipton, and St Mary's Church, Carleton.
Parishioners welcomed him a barbecue with members of both churches following Sunday morning services.
He is pictured with the Rev Ruth Harris, vicar of Christ Church and St Mary's.
