TWO pupils and two parents at Cracoe and Rylstone Primary School decided it was a snip when they wanted to boost a children's charity.
For the four got together to have their locks lopped off for the Little Princess Trust, which provides real hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their hair through cancer treatments.
Sarah Roche and her daughter Evelyn were joined by parent Thea Walker and pupil Ella Leonard to donate a total of 34 inches of hair between them for the trust.
They had their hair 'harvested' by salon staff at Saks Hairdressing in Skipton.
