RNLI fan, Oliver Platt, a nine year-old pupil at Hothfield School, Silsden, donated £150 each to the RNLI and Maryport Inshore Rescue following his coffee morning on Saturday, June 17, at Trinity Methodist Church in Westmorland Street, Skipton.
His mum Susanne said: "Oliver has also received another £80 in donations from people who were unable to attend the coffee morning so that will be sent off this week as well."
Oliver is a member of Stormforce, the RNLI's children's club and his passion for the Maryport lifeboat came while he was on holiday on the town.
