FREQUENT downpours throughout the day couldn't dampen the enthusiasm of visitors to a very well-attended Langcliffe Show.
The event was opened by long-time resident of the village Barbara Fiarato, who spoke about the history of Langcliffe and the importance of the show in the life of the community.
There were a host of entries in the various classes, which ranged from vegetables, fruit and flowers to handicrafts, all on display in the village Institute and the church.
Around 70 visitors enjoyed the traditional after-show 'pie and peas' supper, which was followed by the auction of donated exhibits.
Pictured are the children who exhibited in the various classes. Max Clark was the overall winner.
