SKIPTON: Members and supporters of Skipton Little Theatre are reminded the annual general meeting takes place at 7.30pm tonight in the theatre on Clifford Street.

The Skipton Players' first production of the season, the dark comedy Natural Causes, will run from October 10 to 14.

Skipton Film Club will screen its second film of the season, The Handmaiden, on Sunday, October 1, at the Plaza Cinema, on Sackville Street.

The film club night starts at 5.15pm with a short film by a film club member.

Members and non members are welcome.

Skipton Folk Unplugged will host a singers night on Monday at the Narrow Boat, on Victoria Street. Start time is 8.30pm.

SETTLE: The exhibitions Back in Settle: Pastimes in Past Times and Settle Captured in Wool will be on display at The Folly until Sunday, September 24.

The Folly's exhibition 1917: Mud and Misery, which looks at how the lives of the people of North Craven were affected by the Great War in 1917, will be on display until October 29.

Following on from his 2010 exhibition, Canadian photographer Jim des Rivières will display a new collection of moth photographs at the Gallery on the Green in Settle until Monday, September 18.

The exhibition includes 28 moth species representing a tiny cross-section of the species found in the immediate locale of the photographer’s home in Ottawa, Canada.

Miles and Erica of Indie band The Wonder Stuff, featuring front man Miles Hunt and violinist Erica Nockalls, will perform at 8pm tonight in Settle Victoria Hall.

The support act will be Will Hunt, a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer.

The project No Petticoats Here, which remembers First World War women through song, will be performed by award-winning singer, songwriter and musician Louise Jordan at 7.30pm tomorrow in Settle Victoria Hall.

The trio Voodoo Room will perform the iconic tunes of Jimi Hendrix and Cream at 8pm on Saturday in Settle Victoria Hall.

A Celebration of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons presented by tribute band The Ragdolls will be performed at 7.30pm on Sunday in Settle Victoria Hall.

BARNOLDSWICK: British rock and folk singer Martin Stephenson and folk band Crooked Weather will perform at 7.30pm on Friday, September 22, in the Barnoldswick Music and Arts Centre, on Rainhall Road.

BOLTON ABBEY: Soprano Katy Kelly and pianist Ewan Gilford will present an Evening Classics, a concert of operatic favourites, art songs and Irish music, at 7.30pm on Friday, September 15, in the Priory Church at Bolton Abbey.

CONONLEY: The opening film of Cononley Cinema Club's new season will be the comedy drama Their Finest, which will be screened at 7pm on Sunday, September 17, in Cononley Village Institute.

The film is set in World War Two and focuses on the role of women and cinema.

Tickets cost £5 everyone aged 16 and over and £2.50 for children 16 and under. They are available from Cononley Village Shop and on the door.

CARLETON-IN-CRAVEN: Multi-award winning country singer and guitarist Darren Busby returns to the Iron Horse Country Music Club on Saturday at Carleton Social Club.

GRASSINGTON: The Upper Wharfedale Arts and Literature Society (UWALS) will host a 'Cartoon History of Here', a show which will be presented by poet Ian McMillan, the Bard of Barnsley, and cartoonist Tony Husband.

The evening of comedy, cartoonery, poetry and story-telling will be held on Friday, October 13, at the Octagon in Grassington Town Hall. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

GLUSBURN: Glusburn Fallfest will take place from Friday, September 22, to Sunday, September 24, at the Glusburn Institute Community and Arts Centre.

The Fallfest will begin with the Falling Stars Theatre Company performing 2, a play by Jim Cartwright set in a typical Northern pub.

Performances will be held at 7pm on the Friday and 2pm on the Sunday. Tickets cost £8 for adults and £6 for students.

In addition to a Beer and Gin Festival which will be held all weekend, on Saturday there will be a Bake Off for children and adults, children's activities, a street market, refreshments, bar and hog roast.

On Saturday, there will also be free live performances by Rock Up and Sing! choir, Appalachian dance, Zumba and the Amore School of Dance, as well as junior and fun races.

The headline gala performance at 6pm on the Saturday will be a concert by award-winning singer Beverly Craven.

Tickets cost £20, or £34 which includes a pre-show two-course meal. Family tickets cost £45, or £88 with the meal.

SUTTON-IN-CRAVEN: Sutton's Green Hut Theatre Company will present a performance of Hi De Hi at 7.15pm tomorrow and Saturday in Sutton Village Hall.

The play, written by Paul Carpenter and Ian Gower, has been adapted from the original comedy TV series by Jimmy Perry and David Croft.
