A FORMER pub company employee has been sent to crown court to face a charge of perverting the course of justice.
Ryan James Anderton, 37, is charged with perverting the course of justice by falsely claiming a robbery had taken place at the Railway Inn, Main Street, Cononley, on July 17 last year.
Anderton, of Duke Street, Keighley, is also charged with stealing £2,357 from the Bridgehouse Pub Company, part of Punch Taverns.
Anderton appeared at Skipton Magistrates' Court where he was sent to Bradford Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on September 29.
