A65 reported to be partially blocked near Settle after accident
The A65 east of Settle was blocked after a motor cyclist suffered serious injuries in an accident earlier today.
The crash happened at around 4.33pm and involved a Honda motorcycle and a Land Rover Discovery.
The bike rider has been taken to hospital in Preston by air ambulance.
His injuries are described by police as serious but not thought to be life-threatening.
A police spokesman said the road was blocked at 6pm with diversions in place.
The road is now reported to be reopened.
Police ask that any witnesses contact them on 101, select option 1, and speak to the Force Control Room, quoting reference NYP-13092017-0363.
