GLUSBURN Community Primary School pupils are getting fit on a new trim trail in the school grounds.
The equipment, funded through a successful Lottery Fund bid, was installed during the summer holidays.
Head Richard Hunt said: “This will help our children develop balance, coordination, climbing confidence and strength through physical challenges.”
Mr Hunt said the trim trail was just one of the changes made at the school campus over the holidays.
He said: “We have two new classrooms, a footpath linking key stage one and two play areas, an extension to the playground and additional staff car parking.
“As the school continues to increase its number on roll, nearing 400 children, the new classrooms will provide a modern learning environment for the pupils.”
