Skipton Town Hall has launched a new programme of events to entertain audiences through the autumn and winter.

Theatre, art, workshops, dance and film all feature in the new series of events, many of which will make use of new raked seating installed by Craven District Council in the concert hall as part of improvements made possible through an Arts Council grant.

Danielle Daglan, programming and venue development manager at Craven District Council, said: “We’re delighted to launch this exciting and innovative new programme at the town hall. There’s something for everyone – cutting-edge new theatre, world-class music, outstanding artwork, fun events for children and families and classic film.

“We hope audiences will enjoy these performances and will come along to see the fantastic improvements we are making to the building as we transform it into a cultural hub for the district.”
