The 12th Annual Rounders tournament in memory of Jo Fletcher and Trevor Driver was hosted by its founders and last year’s winners, the Springboks Rounders team, recently.

The tournament was founded in Jo's memory. She was a member of the team who died suddenly in 2005 and it has been held every year since.

And Trevor Driver was the Springboks sponsor (through his company JB Springs in Skipton) from its start around 20 years ago with the company still sponsoring it today and Trevor's daughter and granddaughter still playing in the team.

Eight local teams battled throughout the day at Sandylands Field, which culminated in a tremendous display of batting and fielding from both teams that made it to the nail-biting final. The Skipton Sloggers eventually snatched the victory from 2015 winners Cowling.

Organisers thanked all who helped raise £400 from the event, which is to be donated to Manorlands Hospice in Oxenhope..

As well as Skipton Sloggers, Cowling, and Springboks the other teams were Settle, Ingleton, Bentham, Silsden, and Cononley.
