CYCLISTS have helped raise £3,500 for three charities by cycling the 250 miles from Skipton Building Society head office in Skipton to Edinburgh in three days.
They were all members of Skipton Building Society Cycling Club and the challenge was one of a series of events which raised cash for Wil's Wishes, set up in memory of Wil Handford who died aged 24, last October, following bowel cancer - his sister Cat works at SBS - Silver Line, a free helpline for older people and The Movember Foundation, which tackles men's health.
