A 40 YEAR old man has been sent to crown court charged with kidnap in Skipton.
Daniel Lee Burns faces a charge of unlawfully and by force or fraud taking or carrying away a woman against her will in Skipton on October 6. He is also charged with stealing the woman's mobile phone, of value unknown, at the same time.
Burns, of Kingfisher Grove, Bradford, appeared at Skipton Magistrates Court on Friday when he was told the kidnap charge was indictable only and he was being sent to Bradford Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on November 10. The theft charge will be dealt with at the same time.
