A FUNKY Flowers workshop was staged at Glusburn.
Florist Carol Pilling led the session, at the Community & Arts Centre.
Autumn arrangements, using unusual flowers and foliage, were created.
They included rosehips, cotinus, Chinese lanterns, eryngium blue dynamite and hypericum berry, along with hydrangea and dahlia.
More workshops are now planned.
"Beautiful arrangements were created and at Carol's next workshops attendees will create a candle centrepiece incorporating unusual textures, materials and fresh flowers in preparation for the festive season," said a spokesman for the centre, in Colne Road.
The sessions are from 1.30pm to 3.30pm on Wednesday (Nov 1) and from 10am to noon on Saturday, November 4.
The cost is £17, including all materials, tuition and tea or coffee.
Participants need to take just an apron and a pair of scissors.
