A65 closed earlier today after two hurt in crash
THE A65 was closed near Hellifield earlier today after two people were hurt in a crash.
Police say they were contacted at 5.56am by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to the collision between a Vauxhall Movano white panel van and a blue Ford Focus car.
North Yorkshire Fire Service also attended and the road was closed from the A682.
The driver of the van, a male,was taken to hospital with leg and chest injuries and the female driver of the car was taken to Airedale hospital with possible pelvic injuries.
The road was reopened at 7.26am
