POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 22 year old woman was killed in a collision on the A65 at Settle at the weekend.
The woman was a front seat passenger in a blue Subaru Impreza travelling from Long Preston towards Settle when it left the road shortly after 8.40pm on Saturday.
The woman, from Norfolk, was killed in the collision and the driver, a 27 year old man from the Skipton area, was taken to hospital with minor injuries. He is assisting officers with their inquiries.
Witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have seen the Subaru before to the incident, are urged to contact the police as soon as possible.
