THE chinking of cups and coins, together with chattering voices, filled Ingleborough Community Centre recently when members and supporters of the Ingleton Theatre Group held their annual coffee morning in advance of their latest production, Dick Turpin.
Dick Turpin will be staged from Wednesday, February 28, to Saturday, March 3, in the Ingleton Community Centre.
Massive blocks of seating were booked during the coffee morning when tickets for the pantomime, written by Susan Mosley, went on sale for the first time.
The raffle and tombola, as well as the cake stall, proved to be so popular that by the end of the morning £350 had been made to boost Ingleton Theatre Group funds.
This will be put to good use by theatre group members to create a striking collection of costumes and stage sets for this year’s performances.
Further tickets for the Dick Turpin production, which be held at 7.30pm each evening during the pantomime’s run, are priced at £6 for adults and £4 for children/concessions and are now available from the community centre during office hours.
