LOCAL property experts Petty’s are celebrating the three-year anniversary of the opening of their Barnoldswick branch.

Since opening in January 2015, Jo Applegate, manager at the Barnoldswick office, said: “We’ve really been made to feel welcome by everyone, it’s been a fantastic three years. Barnoldswick is a unique town with a great sense of community.

“We’ve got involved where we can and have sponsored the charity Santa Run which raises thousands of pounds every year for Bosom Friends, a local cancer support charity, as well as run competitions with local schools which has seen our windows filled with pictures of houses that the children have drawn.”

The Barnoldswick branch has also sold or let over 200 houses in the three-year period, amounting to just over £28 million.

Ian Bythell, a director at Petty’s, said: “Petty’s celebrate 90 years this year, we’re a well-established company but are always looking to improve and expand where we can and Barnoldswick has been a great move for us.

“Demand in the area meant we felt we really needed a presence in this part of Pennine Lancashire.”
