The Counterfeit Sixties will perform 1960s music at 7.30pm tomorrow at The Mart Theatre.

The tribute show will feature music by more than 25 bands of that era, including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Dave Clark Five, The Kinks and The Monkees

Settle Orchestra will be perform at 7.30pm on Saturday in Christ Church, Skipton.

The programme will include Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto, which features soloist Natasha Lomas, Britten’s Simple Symphony and Haydn’s Symphony no.103, the Drum Roll. Tickets cost £12.

Skipton Film Club will screen A Quiet Passion, a biographical film about the life of reclusive poet Emily Dickinson, at 5.15pm on Sunday, April 1, at the Plaza Cinema, on Sackville Street.

Skipton Folk Unplugged will present a singers night on Monday at the Narrow Boat, on Victoria Street. Start time is 8.30pm.

SETTLE: Yorkshire Dales Ukulele Weekender 2018 will be held in Settle from at 8pm tomorrow to lunchtime on Sunday.

Most of the activities will take place in Settle Victoria Hall and the programme will include workshops, open mics, strum-alongs and sessions.

The weekend kicks off with a ukulele party at 8pm on the Friday evening and at 8.30pm on Saturday there will be a gala concert featuring international ukulele personalities Deadman’s Uke and Friends.

There will also be performances by The Hedge Inspectors, Danni and Liam, The League of Ukelele Gentleman, Nanukes of the North and Elisabeth Pfeiffer.

The exhibition Still Life – A Celebration marks the opening of the 2018 season at Gavagan Art in Settle Town Hall.

The exhibition, which runs from Saturday, March 31, to Saturday, May 12, will showcase a range of works by contemporary artists.

The gallery is open from 11am to 4pm Thursdays to Saturdays.

A screening of National Theatre Live: Julius Caesar will be held at 7pm tonight in Settle Victoria Hall.
