MY GARDEN Interests will be the subject for the next meeting of the Glusburn and Cross Hills Gardening Society.
Anthony Noblet from Bury will deliver the talk on Friday April 20 at 7.30pm at Glusburn Institute.
Mr Noblet will outline his personal approach developing his garden, propagating and growing camellias, auricles, miniature hostas, miniature pelogoriums, streptocarpus, begonia rex and late chrysanthemums.
Mr Noblet, a former chartered structural engineer and council Parks Department manager, will showcase some of his plants and allow people to buy them.
A spokesman said: βHe is largely a self-taught gardener and horticulturalist, though a good listener to the experts, and will be sharing how his personal approach has developed.β
Future Gardening Society meetings: Peter Williams, May 18, with A Year in a Woodland Garden; Phil Airey, June 15, talking about Horticap in Harrogate.
