A SCHEME to build three new homes in the grounds of Holly Tree House, Skipton Road, Low Bradley, has been deferred so councillors can visit the site.
Monday's Planning Committee meeting of Craven District Council heard it was proposed to build one five bedroom home, and a pair of three bedroom, semi-detached homes on the site.
Access would be shared with the existing access to Holly Tree House, and the boundary wall onto Skipton Road would be lowered to improve visibility.
Ward councillor Andrew Brown, urged councillors to either refuse the application which was recommended for approval - or carry out a site visit before making a decision.
Cllr Brown described the largest of the planned homes as a 'chief executive home' and said it would be out of proportion to all other homes in Low Bradley.
He added there were also safety issues with children being collected and dropped off at the nearby primary school.
