AN Ingleton dog owner charged with having his lurcher dangerously out of control is to stand trial at Skipton Magistrates' Court.
Peter Simpson, 68, denies being the owner of a lurcher which was dangerously out of control in Church Street, Ingleton, on September 28, last year. He also denies criminal damage of under £5,000 in that without lawful excuse he destroyed a cat, or was reckless as to whether it would be destroyed or damaged.
Simpson, of Ingleborough Park Drive, appeared at Skipton Magistrates' Court on Friday when he pleaded not guilty to both charges and when his case was adjourned for trial to the Skipton court in July.
